Different Rivers of India

There are many rivers in India which mostly originate from the various Hills of Himalayas the major river is holy river Ganga and Yamuna is also a parallel river which make fertile land which is called the Ganga and Yamuna plane area and these both rivers meet with each other at Prayagraj along with the Sarasvati river which is fez to be flowing underground but it comes on the ground at the Sangam place at Prayagraj which has become a holy place spiritually in India and after Prayagraj the flow of water goes towards the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean.

Now other words in Southern parts of India all to have their origin from The Hills of Himalayas like Krishna Kaveri Godavari Narmada etc. So they also flow towards southern parts of India and these rivers also intermix the water of Bay of Bengal and Indian ocean. We know that India's most part are surrounded by Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. So far is the case of other rivers India is concerned and we shall have to considered the case of five rivers growing from the Himalayan Hills towards the northern portions and after crossing the Indian territory is Reverse partially flow towards Pakistan and China so Punjab as it has been named after the five rivers namely Satluj Ravi Vyas Chenab Jhelum so these are the five rivers which have flow towards Northern direction and even which Brahmaputra which originates and passes through some states from the Himalayan Hills are also has its flowing direction towards the northern places and the country so they are some rivers as well but these rivers are seasonal like Shahabad Markanda Ghaghara river etc.

But these are not ever flowing these are very seasonal so we need not contemplate much more about this river all the major rivers which have their per month existence and their main origin is from the number less streams flowing the various parts of Himalayan hills is their origin place in Northern Himalayan Hills are the origin of holy river Ganga , Yamuna Brahmputra Satluj Ravi Chenab Jhelum the rest of the rivers namely Krishna Kaveri Godavari Narmada etc. Have their water flow towards the south direction which far into Indian Ocean Bay of Bengal ultimately and we know that their is the ocean between Sri Lanka and the territory of India and also a free directions of India We the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean and Bay Of Bengal which is a part of Indian Ocean so India is surrounded by the oceans on three sides only the northern parts of India is Terrestrial one where from we observe and see the flow all the rivers of Punjab, Assam as well.

Now how far these rivers stand beneficial for India is equally to the considerable question. All the rivers are the main source of irrigation and many canals have been dug by the Indian government to make the Indian agriculture land fully irrigated.

However there are many parts of Rajasthan where from no rivers floods only a Canal can be Indira Canal has been dug in Rajasthan state territory of the purpose of irrigation of the desert lands of India so these rivers for agriculture purposes as well as the other multipurpose projects started by Indian government like the Bhakhra dam which is it multipurpose and all other such project are functions in this direction particularly by the help of water of Brahmaputra river Satluj river Ravi Jhelum Chenab etc. And the rest of the water namely Satluj at the rest of the water of the three words flows towards Pakistan Afghanistan China and other part of the neighbouring countries so on political grounds Indian government is trying is best to divert the direction to the water rivers of Punjab as well.

But complete success has not so far been achieve by the Indian government so that words are being made continuously and multipurpose projects have been established for the different purposes is the northern parts of India for utilising the water of these rivers show the main source of irrigation are the rivers Yamuna and the holy Ganga. Show the formation and the origin of these rivers as proof very beneficial all though during rainy season in some lower parts or plants of India.

The over flow of the water of these rivers drink dug and causes much destructions during the rainy season so people efforts are also made by the Indian government to solve this major problem yet much work is lying still view on the part of Indian government on the disposal and proper disposal of water or how these rivers which have their flow southern direction and ultimately those rivers which fall and intermixed with the Indian ocean so these rivers are the major source of irrigation for the agriculture passbook purposes as well as Starting of the multipurpose projects ultimately we can say a the water of these rivers has proved very beneficial and the most of the Indian land agricultural land is being irrigated by the water of these rivers.
